Risimatihost — Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of web hosting, domain, and server services provided by Risimatihost. By using our services, you agree to comply with the terms of this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice or refund.
1. General Purpose
Risimatihost provides reliable web hosting and internet presence services. You are expected to use our network and servers with respect, courtesy, and responsibility. Common sense and compliance with local and international laws are your best guides.
2. Prohibited Activities and Content
You may not use Risimatihost services to publish, store, transmit, or link to any material or engage in any activity that is illegal, harmful, or abusive. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:
- Illegality: Any violation of local, national, or international laws, including copyright infringement, piracy, trademark theft, and unauthorized distribution of software.
- Malicious Activity: Hosting or distributing malware, viruses, trojan horses, worms, or participating in denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, hacking, or network scanning.
- Spam and Unsolicited Communications: Sending unsolicited bulk emails (“spam”), forged email headers (“spoofing”), or running unauthenticated open mail relays.
- Adult or Objectionable Content: Hosting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), extreme violence, incitement of hate speech, or harassment against individuals or groups.
- Resource Abuse & Unauthorized Services:
- Cryptocurrency mining or crypto-related node operations.
- Running public file-sharing, torrent, or large media download sites.
- Operating unauthorized public game servers, IRC networks, or proxy/gateway servers.
- Exceeding allocated CPU, RAM, inode, or bandwidth limits in a manner that degrades server performance for other users.
3. Security Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the security of your hosting account and any applications running under it:
- Keep all scripts, Content Management Systems (CMS like WordPress), plugins, and themes fully updated.
- Use strong, unique passwords and enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) where available.
- Promptly remove unused applications or inactive scripts that present vulnerabilities.
If an account is compromised or becomes a security risk, Risimatihost reserves the right to suspend or isolate the account immediately.
4. Enforcement and Remedies
Risimatihost reserves the right—but assumes no obligation—to monitor, review, or police customer content and network activity. If a violation occurs, we may take corrective action, including:
- Issuing a formal warning.
- Temporarily suspending or permanently terminating hosting privileges.
- Removing or disabling access to offending content or scripts without prior notice.
